A #family prays at a Cheng-Ren (Ahom community's Naamghar / Prayer Hall) on the occasion of Me-Dam Me-Phi yesterday. The word ‘Me’ means offerings, ‘Dam’ means ancestors and ‘Phi’ means gods. So ‘Me-Dam-Me-Phi’ means oblations offered to the dead and sacrifices to gods. by rondeep
